WPOTY 2010, I made it as far as the semi finals

My second year entering this prestigious competition! I’ve just heard back from the Veolia Environnement 2010 Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition to discover these two images made the semi finals. I knew I hadn’t got as far as last year when I reached the final round of judging, as it had taken so long to get feedback from them. However, as I said above, from my five images entered this year I had two make it through to the semi-finals so nice to get past the first round again! With my 2011 Yellowstone trips planned for January maybe I’ll get that special shot for next years competition. Fingers firmly crossed!

Best of luck to anyone who has made in to the final selection. Always a pleasure to see the final images when the yearly exhibition goes up.

And don’t forget…
