Nikon 24mm 1.4 AFS and 16-35 f4 VR announced

There here…well, pretty much! Nikon has announced it’s up coming additions to it’s lens line up in the shape of the new 24mm 1.4 AFS and 16-35 f4 VR – so catering to the needs of wide and semi-wide angle shooters out there. There are some sample images and product brochures available for your viewing pleasure and to help wet your appetite, if you are in the market for either lens…although as expected the price of the 24mm is floating around the eye watering £1.9k/$2.2k point!

The 16-35 could prove to be popular with full frame shooters as it will offer a nice wide angle range, as well as the ability to use filters, something landscape users have missed with the 14-24! Although being a 28-70 owner (or for those with the 24-70) the 14-24 would still make more sense so as not to have too much overlap with focal lengths?
