I have a lowly 40D, which I love – but it has broken recently (ERR99) with, I think, a lens box problem that seems not uncommon nowadays with cheaper canon bodies
Anyway – I am needing to send it to someone that I can trust, and wondered if you use anybody whom you would be able to let me know about? The ony one I have found with favourable reviews (albeit scarce) are the Canon Colchester people

Andy, you could try contacting Fixation. They are authorised for Canon and Nikon repairs and are, as far as I have heard, have a very good service.
