But I don't appreciate having to send the case back and Nikon receiving it before getting a replacement. That means that my $6,000.00 lens is going to be in less than optimum storage conditions while the old/new case are being shipped back and forth. That is crazy! I should have the option of leaving a credit card number and have the item cross-ship so that I can take the lens out of the defective case and right into the new one. The way this replacement is setup by having Nikon not send me the new one until receiving the old one leaves me with the impression that they care more about their case than my very expensive lens.
